HOT SPOT *

We are recommending
cute and cozy places to
dine out as Valentine’s
Day falls on this Feb.
This kitschy house turned restaurant has a homey
feel with chipped paint
and retro furniture.
There’s a green house you
can dine under the
skylight or opt for its
open-air porch with lawn.
The cuisine has a global
feel, mostly Italian,
Japanese and Thai and
dishes has a modern twist,
such as spicy mango
salad with salmon steak,
or the spaghetti Tarako
(cod roe) with cream
sauce. This is a lovely
place for couples to cozy
up and enjoy an intimate
meal together. Yummy
cocktails.

BONJOUR BANGKOK
Thought up by a group of
friends who yearned for a Parisian-NYC style café in Bangkok, this place offers signature dishes from two
great chic cities. BBQ ribs, mussels with white wine
sauce, grilled Romaine
Caesar salad and mini
burgers, all are wonderfully delicious. Equally tempting
are the French onion soup, Croque with Virginia ham,
tasty gruyere and mozzarella cheese. For main, we loved
the Gorgonzola Ed & Ted, roasted chicken spaghetti
with cream sauce. Best seats
of the house are alfresco.
